Thierry HOFFMANN
Chairman
After completing my training as a pharmacist, I went into the pharmaceutical industry, joining the Belgian group Solvay at the beginning of the 80s. Having started out in animal health, I then moved towards human health, where I held several positions, particularly in regulatory affairs.

I then had the opportunity to set up completely and take on the chairmanship of the French subsidiary of Ranbaxy, a major Indian player on the global generics market.
Owing to my interest in operations and team management, I went on to hold a number of positions in marketing, followed by marketing/sales at Glaxo-Wellcome and Pfizer.

Respect for company values still remains a determining factor in my day-to-day decision making. Leader behaviour and values are closely related to each other and continually help us to work more effectively in striving for excellence.

- Team work, respect for others, a taste for performance, encouraging employees to assume greater responsibility, an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to adapt to change are fundamental values that should be shared at all company levels.

Although a good number of companies claim to adhere to these values, very few actually implement them, or the principles are very soon overlooked. These values are firmly established at the very heart of Therabel Lucien Pharma’s corporate culture, which is a key to the company’s success.
