SIDE EFFECTS

Drugs can provoke several different effects on the body. In addition to the desired effect for which the drug is taken, unwanted effects can occur. These are the side effects or undesirable effects.

All drugs can have side effects. Most often, these are of no serious consequence and disappear when one stops taking the drug. Sometimes, serious effects can occur.
If you suspect that a drug is the cause of a side effect, it is important to report it, especially if the side effect is not mentioned in the package leaflet.

In fact, side effects that are reported are investigated and this enables knowledge of the drug to be deepened and attempts to be made to avoid or limit the side effects. This is what is called pharmacovigilance.

If you suspect one of our drug to be the origin of a side effect, speak about it to your doctor or your pharmacist. These will report it directly to Therabel Pharma Nederland or to the Lareb Centre of the Agency for Medicinal Products.

You can also report it to us by e-mail or by telephone:
