THERABEL does not perform basic research, but rather focuses on phase-III clinical research on new agents developed by reliable partners. It also focuses on the development of new indications and pharmaceutical forms for existing agents.
THERABEL does not rely on different production sites specialising in several chemical or pharmaceutical forms, but rather has a single up-to-date production site flexible enough to adapt to the production of different types of dry pharmaceutical forms. THERABEL also works with third party manufacturers.
Our single objective is to focus all our strengths and talents exclusively on our expertise: serving the Medical Profession and patients by providing innovative prescription medicines.
THERABEL is not motivated by quarterly or financial market results, but rather by the 5-year achievements and long-term objectives which have kept THERABEL going since 1945 and to which the Group owes its strong growth, with a threefold increase in turnover in 10 years.
And after our 60 years of activities, first in Belgium, then in France, The Netherlands and Italy, THERABEL aims to become a European pharmaceutical group that is firmly established in all major countries of the European Community, while preserving our human-scale structure, our philosophy, our ethics and our freedom of action.
