Petra Heyen Vice President Regulatory Affairs   I joined Therabel Pharma in July 2008 after having spent the first years of my career working for a number of organisations, including university hospitals and well-known pharmaceutical companies such as Bayer Novartis, Sanochemia and Chiron. My responsibilities included biometry, regulatory affairs, clinical research, project management and pharmacovigilance.     I obtained my Medical Degree from the Westfälische Wilhelms Universität of Münster/Germany. Additionally, I hold a Master’s degree in Regulatory Affairs (University of Bonn/Germany) and Public Health (University of Duesseldorf/ Germany), as well as a Ph.D. in Medical Informatics (University of Münster/ Germany).   The Therabel Group is present in 5 European countries. It is our stated objective to enter several new European markets within the next 3-5 years. It is my mission to facilitate this goal with the concomitant expansion of the existing regulatory affairs, clinical trials and pharmacovigilance structure within the group. In this way, our medical affairs teams will be able to continue to act locally, while at the same time sharing in the responsibility and achievement of our global vision.
